Hoops, jumping through

I will try to make this my last grumbling post about phds.

Why do they have to make the application process so complicated? Forms on twelve different web pages, no clear guidelines, finding an address is nearly impossible with some schools. Oh, and there should be an across the board length requirement for personal statements. I think my two-pager really kicks ass, but for some schools, I have to cut it down to one page. I wonder how small I can make my margins and font...
